Al-iklas College of Health Technology, Tilden Fulani was established in 2014 by its founder and Director, Barr. Musa Salihu Eggi. With a passion for improving literacy in his community, he initiated holiday classes at Magama Gumau, leading to the establishment of the college. Consultations with various community stakeholders led to the formal start-up. Key contributors included Mr. Yusuf Salihu Jalo, Barr. Yusuf Aliyu, Bashir Sulaiman Abubakar, and Usman Suleiman Abubakar.

The structural organization of the institution involved consultations with Dr. Usman Suleiman Abubakar, Dr. Shamsundeen Isah Gwarzo, Mr. Ilias Muhammad Abubakar, and Mr. Samuel John, who worked together with the College Director. They conducted extensive research and consulted different colleges of Health to ensure a meaningful and reliable start.

Finally, our request for affiliation was considered by the College of Health Science and Technology Makarfi, where Dr. Shamsundeen Isah Gwarzo became the coordinator.

This council is a non-political or religious organization. Its aims and objectives are as follows:

1. To promote and protect the interest of all registered members of the council.
2. To promote and protect the spirit of oneness among students irrespective of their state of origin, creed, ethnicity, and religion, fostering national unity.
3. To develop and promote intellectual and cultural activities by holding symposiums, public lectures, debates, and other related activities in consultation with the college authorities.
4. To seek a mature way of communicating with college authorities on matters affecting students' welfare, creating a favorable atmosphere for teaching and learning.
5. To promote healthy and harmonious student-staff relationships.
6. To work for the progress and advancement of the college and humanity, using dialogue as a means of pursuing its program and shunning all forms of violence.

Membership of the student representative council is voluntary, and members contribute dues to maintain council activities.
